How to play Letter Link

Start Letter Link by looking at the playing area and its controls. Find every target word from the six-letter bank. Look at what changes after your first action. Treat the first round as a chance to learn the controls. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions.

Make words from two letter sets: PLANET and STREAM. Each set uses a selected list of accepted answers.

Build a steady rhythm

Take enough time to read a new position. If a game has a timer, learn its controls first rather than searching for them during the round. Make the next step deliberately.

Your goal

Find every target word from the six-letter bank. Read that aim before choosing your first action. Notice how the game responds to your input.

Step by step

  1. Select letters in order, each tile once per word.
  2. Submit the word.
  3. Clear letters to retry.
  4. Find all displayed word lengths.

Controls

Tap letters and Submit word. Use the control method described here for this activity. Make sure you are interacting with the game rather than the surrounding page.

A useful example

PLANET makes PLANT, PLANE and PETAL. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Keep the controls nearby.

Watch out for this

Not every dictionary word is a target in this curated list. Take a moment to reassess the position before continuing. Watch the feedback after an action. A message can explain whether the input was accepted or whether a rule needs attention.
