How to play Mini Golf

Start Mini Golf by looking at the playing area and its controls. Sink all three holes within twelve strokes per hole. Use the example below to understand a decision. Compare the starting position with the example in the Guide. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions.

Three original obstacle courses; wall bounces and friction.

Make the controls familiar

Locate the buttons and input area before beginning a long round. Use the on-screen labels to avoid an accidental restart. Refer to the controls when needed.

Your goal

Sink all three holes within twelve strokes per hole. The feedback beside the game helps you follow the round. Review the board or playing area as it changes.

Step by step

  1. Aim a stopped ball.
  2. Set power and putt.
  3. Wait until it stops before another shot.
  4. Use Next hole after sinking.

Controls

Touch aim, angle/power sliders and Putt. Keep the playing area visible while using these controls. Use one clear input at a time.

A useful example

A soft final putt can sink where a fast crossing would not. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Read the matching step again.

Watch out for this

The hole accepts only a sufficiently slow ball. Check the rule before repeating the action. Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board.
